No Time To Blog! It's Cyber Monday!

No time for a real blog post today because I'm very busy online shopping.  I skipped Black Friday and stayed far away from the brick and mortar stores and opted to spend some quality time at the beach.  No regrets!

On Saturday, I purchased a new bike rack from a local small business.  I went on Tuesday and had them hold it and then called from the beach on Saturday to actually purchase it.  I am all for supporting small businesses when I can and I got it at 20% off which is the same if I had gotten it online at REI.

Next on the list, other than clothing items, is a Kitchenaid Artesian Mixer in white like this one.

The perfect thing to assist me in my yearly baking.

I am still looking, but I think I have found the perfect dress for our Christmas party this year.  More later!

Shop on!

  1. I love that Kitchen Aid, wouldn't mind getting one..
I try to support small businesses, too, especially since I'm one myself. It's a bit of a challenge around here where there are very few good ones. Most of this city's small businesses appear to be Mexican restaurants but we enjoy Tex Mex food, so...
Oops, got on a tangent...It's been that kind of day!
Isn't the beach pretty this time of year. Nice pic.

    1. The Boy and I ate at a local mexican restaurant in Gulf Breeze Saturday. Forgot about that smail business support. The beach has been GREAT as always. Spending time with the Boy was great too. He was ready to get back to school though.

  2. I honestly don't do much online shopping. But they do have some great deals available. I don't even shop on Black Friday either.

    1. I only shopped black friday once. I headed to Starbucks first thing. It was the only thing that I did that day that was worth getting out. Everything else, not so much.

    1. I can't wait to get it in time for christmas baking. Wish I could've found more clothing/shoes items I liked that were in my size and discounted. Not so much luck there.

  4. I shopped Cyber Monday for hubby's Xmas gift. Also was looking for a sweater for myself but most of the sites I checked out had problems and were pretty slow due to volume--especially the discount ones like Forever 21 and H & M.
