Mac Daddy's Theme Song

FYI Mac Daddy is a car.  One of the fleet of cars in our driveway, all of which have names.  Mac Daddy is the biggest luxury car that gets neglected most of the time because we prefer to drive the SUV.  The Murph named the SUV the Black Panther.  It's considered my car because I have to have something big to carry around all my stuff.  Triathletes need big cars to carry all their stuff.  It's mandatory.

The other car that the Boy use to drive is called the Silver Bullet and the convertible is Little Red.  It only gets driven during the warm months.  During the colder months, like now, Mac Daddy gets driven more just so it gets a little attention. The Boy's Jag has no name and gets no attention whatsoever.  Both the Silver Bullet and the Jag will hopefully be up for sale soon.

Honestly, we really don't need Mac Daddy either since we have the Black Panther and Little Red, but try to explain that to the Murph.  Our driveway looks like a used car lot right now.

Mac Daddy

But I digress.  The reason for this post is because over the past year or so, every time I've ridden in Mac Daddy, the same CD is playing.  That CD is a jazz one by Miles Davis called Kind of Blue (find it here.)  The first song, All Blues, always starts playing the minute the car is running.  Like EVERY SINGLE TIME I'M IN THAT CAR!  It's another one of those songs that sticks in my head and stays there for the rest of the day.

Today I finally deemed that song as Mac Daddy's theme song.  Have you ever heard of a car that had it's own theme song?

Well, now you have!
